Tuning into NPR in drive time yesterday, I heard bloggers Zach Patton and Clay Dunn, the couple behind the food blog The BItten Word, recap food trends for the Great American Food Holiday, Thanksgiving.
"The two surveyed 11 food magazines and came up with word clouds to show what's trending in Thanksgiving fare. Overall, they found some creative new recipes that shine on the plate, but overall, classic dishes are holding steady."
You will be relieved to know that kale and cauliflower are out and mashed vegetables are in, such as Carrot Mash with Orange and Mint.
Clearly, I am adding NPR to my list of what I am grateful for and this contribution to our groaning table.
What food makes it Thanksgiving for you?
